The Group operates 76 homes in England and Northern Ireland under three brands, Runwood Senior Living, Sanders Senior Living and Kathryn Homes (Northern Ireland only).
We currently have an opportunity to join the HR department as a Recruitment Compliance Coordinator, this key role reports to the Immigration Officer, and will be responsible for ensuring all domestic and overseas candidates recruited into Runwood Homes group are recruited in line with regulations, policies, and procedures, as well as ensuring ongoing compliance - auditing and updating current employees to comply with the respective regulations. You will be based at our Head Office in Hadleigh, Benfleet.
Who are we looking for?
- Minimum of one year’s experience working in recruitment or HR, responsible for the post-offer process
- Previous experience of working to Home Office legislation
- Experience in DBS checks, references, and issuing contracts of employment with varying terms.
- Experience in the use of candidate management systems - Reach
- Exceptionally high attention to detail and ability to work at pace.
- Highly organised and able to effectively prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills including verbal, written, listening, and comprehension.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft packages, excel, word etc.
Responsibilities
- Be a level 1 user on the Home Office SMS System
- Review current procedures and policies
- Create accurate staff files which comply with CQC and Home Office
- Compile central data on staff right to work status and updating where necessary
- Cover annual leave for the Immigration officer, ensuring continuity of service in their absence
- Give advice to homes about company policies on recruitment of non UK passport holders
- Checking right to work documents giving authorisation for employment where necessary
- Supporting onsite file checks where necessary and where the business has concerns in relation to right to work status
- Issuing Certificate of Sponsorships and compile relevant data for onboarding
- Keeping up to date with Home Office legislation, employer guidance and right to work checks
- Liaise with the Immigration Officer and recruitment team to ensure smooth onboarding of sponsored workers
- Ensuring continued compliance
